The growth of world's population and the increase demand of better standard of living have increased the consumption of energy. CO2 emission from fossil fuel combustion also significantly contributes to the global warming and climate change. Many experts predict that the amounts of available conventional energy resources are decreasing with time. That is the reason why development of new or renewable energy technology and improvements of conventional technology are needed to fulfill the energy demand in the future and at the same time save our planet from worse climate-change impact. A good understanding of the mechanisms involved in every step of energy transformations, from the primary to the end-use forms of energy, is needed fo r the improvements and innovations of the technology.

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the 6th International Conference on the Cooling & Heating Technologies. The 6th International Conference on Cooling & Heating Technologies (ICCTH2012) will be held in Xi'an in China on November 9-12, 2012. The 1st International Conference on Cooling & Heating Technologies was held in Hanoi Vietnam(January 2005). Whereas the 2nd and 3rd were held in Dalian China (July 2006), Tokyo Japan (July 2007), Jinhae Korea (October 2008) and Bandung Indonesia(December 2010)  respectively.
